TV Antenna Fix Up Job in Sorrento
The wild west TV antenna fail comedy roadshow continues, and this week it’s in Sorrento!
A nice older chap who was experiencing poor TV reception, contacted a local ‘expert’ about replacing his old TV antenna. Little did he know that he was about to get fleeced.
From bad to worse
The ‘expert’ arrived and did a very dodgy job, knowing that the older gentlemen wouldn’t be able to get on the roof and check it. For this disservice he charged $400, payable in cash only.
A cheap $20 copy antenna was installed right under the old antenna, without even removing it! The crook then cut and reconnected the old coax cable and made no attempt to align the antenna for optimal reception. The mind boggles at his laziness and deceit.
The poor reception continued and the dodgy operator only offered endless excuses and wouldn’t fix their shoddy work.
Time to do it properly
Pro TV was then contacted after being recommended by a neighbour. The mast was removed and refitted with a proper antenna, along with a new roof cable and block filter to help with Auto Tune.
